God loves to hear you sing....and we invite you to come and join a fellowship that can make a difference in your Christian growth with God's grace and blessing. There's many opportunities for young and old to serve Jesus Christ through song with solo, duet, trio, quartet, and choral participation as well.

Here are descriptions of our music groups:

  • Cherub Choir- Three through Five Years of Age
These singing sprouts have energy to burn and share that in their lively tunes. They join in “Call to Worship” presentations during the Church Year with their cherub grins from ear to ear. At Christmas and Easter they perform special anthems, as well, tuned to their level of understanding. At times they add a little spiritual choreography to their songs. We constantly remind all of the youth and adult choruses the importance of feeling the Spirit of Jesus in their hearts while joining in the anthems, so that the listeners can feel it as well. What better group to begin that journey of knowing that it’ s all a part of giving those gifts and talents back to God, than these Cherubs.
  • Alpha Spirit Choir-Kindergarten through Second Grade
The Alpha Spirits are far from beginners as their name indicates, but they are the starters in sharing more versed music. They are able to join in on many of the Holy Spirit numbers and learn, in depth , the meaning of God giving the Song to us. They are involved in many of the offertory special music portions of the services throughout the year as well as prayer music responses. These youngsters provide amazing medleys for Christmas and Easter. There is an awakening sound in their voices and the excitement of encountering each new anthem as a spiritual journey.
  • Holy Spirit Choir-Third Grade through Seventh Grades
Our seasoned junior choristers travel through some harmony on their music adventures with Jesus. They mix solos with choral variations and they make the listeners want to sing along. They add some southern gospel melodies in their selections and frequently share some contemporary worship pieces. They spread their wings in keeping the old hymns in their repertoire. They learn about the history and power of these sacred hymns in winning souls to Jesus. They supply special anthems all through the church calendar year. The Holy Spirits also take their place in lifting their voices with the Adult Choir during the Christmas and Easter Celebrations.
  • Daughters of Grace-Eighth Grade through Twelfth Grades
These young women exemplify their Christianity through their wide variety of anthems. With their busy teenage challenges, the music gives them wings to dream and insight to see beyond the now, and a way to cope with knotty old problems by laying them at the feet of Jesus. They make their connection with God personal and their spiritual melodies, whether old or new, add dimension to any part of the worship services throughout the church year. They join forces with the Adult Choir for Christmas and Easter programs.
  • 11:00 AM Service Adult Choir of Mt. Olivet
Ages 7th Grade through 100 Years Young
Meets every Wednesday Evening in the Choir Room or Fellowship Hall at 8:00 PM until 9:30 PM (Extra rehearsals are arranged by the Choir Director throughout the Church calendar in order to accommodate various Holiday and Revival Celebrations.

Description: This group sings with SATB harmony, full of passion for their Lord. They love Contemporary gospel as well as Southern gospel music, and they are a truly dedicated family of singers. They provide special music for the 11:00 AM Sunday service, with opportunities for solos, duets, trios and quartets. The Adult Choir welcomes anyone who wishes to share their talent of vocal or instrumental ability to join in!
