Evangelism is the heart of the church.
It is the task of the entire church. Every member of the church is a witness.

God gives each individual unique gifts and talents. He wants us to discover and utilize them for work in His kingdom.

Every member of the church can be a part of the pie. Ask God to lead you to the piece that is right for you, or tell us if you feel led to serve in an area that
isn’t listed.

• Welcomes visitors to our church.

• Visits them on the day of their first visit to our church.

• Offers them information about our church and invites them to come back.

• Welcomes people to Church.

• Directs people to Sunday school classes.

• Answers questions and offers literature

• Calls or visits people who are ill, or have just returned home from the hospital.

• Makes occasional visits to members home.

• Ministers to those experiencing death, serious illness or other crises.

• Expresses love and concern.

• Finds needs the church cannot meet.

• Finds ways you or the whole church can help.

• Responds to prayer requests.

• Keeps a prayer log on record.

• Prays daily.

• Maintains confidentiality requests.

• Visits homebound, nursing home members and friends of the church on a regular basis.

• Send birthday cards to home bound and nursing home residents.

• Keeps worship attendance updated.

• Identifies those who become inactive.

• Encourages inactive members to return to active status.

• Makes an effort to let the habitually inactive members know we love and care.

• Adopt new members and help them move more deeply into the life and ministry of our church.
